You might think that crafting a film for the world-famous Bellagio casino might include neon lights and slot machines.

But in Joy, we instead get a black-and-white film, set outside the famed casino. Jongman Kim, a noted South Korean actor, walks across the screen and then pauses, noting that the fountain is mimicking his movements. So he does what anyone should do when something like this happens...he starts to dance. 

Completely shot in-camera with no VFX, the Las Vegas strip had to be closed down for the first time since filming Ocean’s 11. The iconic fountain’s water was controlled remotely, with tight choreography and brilliant timing.
